Navas lauded the quality of Los Blancos squad possessed, but has urged his teammates to further improve their display, and took this opportunity to thanked them for helping him.
“We aren’t playing as well as we can and there’s always room for improvement,” maintained the Costa Rican. “My teammates are doing a great job and we give our all, but we can still do more. There’s no such thing as perfection, yet you can always strive towards it through hard work.
“But this is a team game and you can’t do it on your own. If they put me in goal against 11 men then I’d certainly concede a lot. It’s easier with teammates.”
“My saves were hugely satisfying and we did a great job, so that spurs us on and we are on the right road to achieve big things. I’m grateful to my teammates because they help to make all this possible.
“We must continue with dignity because we are representing a very important club. We must fight until the end and not give in.
“The way we played in the second half against Celta Vigo is the way to go. It’s going to be difficult to win La Liga but we have to have pride in the shirt we are wearing,” explained Navas
