Season 1
Barcelona can just oversee second place behind Manchester United – excruciatingly passing up a great opportunity for the top spot through objective contrast. Los Blancos, however, have a stunner – grieving seventh place behind West Ham.
Season 2
The tables turn as Real gets the second spot, passing up a major opportunity to Spurs by three points. Barca have had a bad dream, completing eleventh – with any semblance of Swansea and Leicester completing above them. They, however, do deal with a FA Cup win.
Season 3
Zinedine Zidane beats Toni Kroos to Chelsea for €76.5 million – however pays the consequences with a fourth-put wrap up. Barcelona, however, command – lastly win the group with 79 points. It seems that congratulations are in order for Barcelona!
