Real Madrid are not preparing Cristiano Ronaldo contract talks yet

Real Madrid are not considering to open fresh contracts talks with Cristiano Ronaldo, as he has three years left on his current deal.

Cristiano Ronaldo signed improved deal with Real Madrid in September 2013 and he has indicate his desire to prolong his stay at Santiago Brenbeu, after admitting that he is very happy at Real Madrid and wants to spend rest of his playing days at his current club. Cristiano Ronaldo future was subject of widespread speculations after alleged training ground bust -up with Real Madrid manager Rafael Benítez, but Cristiano Ronaldo recent remarks has quashed all the rumors. After claiming the Golden Shoe on the Tuesday and winning the award for record fourth time, Cristiano Ronaldo hinted that his long term future lies at Real Madrid.

Ronaldo said; “I feel good and useful at Real Madrid and I want to stay here and win more. I want to keep playing for next five or six years.

“My dream is to retire at Real Madrid and I want to play until I am 40”.

As reported by goal, Real Madrid already have held several private meetings with Cristiano Ronaldo and have told the Portuguese International that there is no need to rush in new contract extension. The  Real Madrid hierarchy has welcomed the Ronaldo’s fresh statement after winger was coy on his future when he was asked previously earlier in October.  Back in September, Real Madrid president  Florentino Perez failed to give assurance regarding Cristiano Ronaldo’s stay at the club.

At that time Florentino Perez said; ” Cristiano Ronaldo has a contract to honour with Real Madrid and we want him at stay at the club in the future, but in this life you can not be certain of anything.”

Florentino Perez hailed the attitude of  Cristiano Ronaldo while speaking to the golden Shoe award presentation on Tuesday,

he said; this award shows Cristiano Ronaldo is an exceptional player. Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player to win award for four times.

Perez further added; it is privilege to have him at the club, Cristiano Ronaldo joined Real Madrid to win everything and he has won and now he wants to win more.”
