“Kaka was the only player who beat Ronaldo and Messi in Ballon d’Or race” – Ricardo Kaka
Brazil legend Kaka says he is exceptionally glad to be the last winner of the Ballon d’Or to have been conceived on planet, with the prestigious honor having been shared solely between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the most recent couple of years. Kaka won the Ballon d’Or in 2007 in the wake of rousing Milan to Champions League triumph with various stunning presentations. With the honor having been won four times by Barcelona’s Messi and three times by Real Madrid’s Ronaldo, kaka was the only player who beat Ronaldo and Messi to achieve this honor.
“Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Messi and I are the main Ballon d’Or champs who are as yet playing. It fills me with pride to remain close by these extraordinary players and to be the last player to have won the grant before Messi and Ronaldo. You could say that I was the last Ballon d’Or champ to have been conceived on this planet.”
Kaka profited move from Milan to Real in 2009, yet his four years at the Bernabeu were harm hit and generally frustrating. He was a part of Real’s last La Liga-winning side in 2011-12 under coach Jose Mourinho, however, he neglected to hit the form he had already come to in his prime at Milan. The previous Sao Paulo man now carries out his specialty in Major League Soccer with Orlando City and he has netted nine goals and also giving four assists so far this season.
In the period before Messi and Ronaldo genuinely started their predominance of European football, Kaka was without a doubt one of the worldwide stars of the diversion. While his profession in La Liga did not work out so well, his time with Milan – and the 2007 Champions League win was exceptional. Not of this world Ronaldo and Messi may be, however, Kaka is deservedly among them as one of the considerable players of the 21st century.
