How many Real Madrid players shortlisted for FIFA’s 2015 World XI?

Real Madrid players are dominating the nomination for the FIFPro and FIFA’s 2015 World XI.

FIFA has announced the 55-man shortlist for FIFPro and FIFA’s 2015 World XI, with Real Madrid leading their ways with total 12  nominations. Nearly 25000 officials from 70 Countries took part in the voting, and Real Madrid are ahead of German Champions Bayern Munich and their el-clasico rival Barcelona with 12 nominees, with latter two have 11 and 10 nominations respectively.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are in line to make it for the ninth time in row for FIFA’s 2015 World XI, while Spanish World Cup winner Andres Iniesta can make it for seventh time.

Last season’s Champions League runners up Juventus have their three players, who are shortlisted for  FIFA’s 2015 World XI, same as the Premier League Champions Chelsea. While four players from Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City has been shortlisted.

The FIFA ProXI will be announced on January 11, 2016 at the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
