Real Madrid failed to bring David De-gea on the deadline day of the transfer window, as deal broke in the 11th hour with Keylor Navas had to stay at Real Madrid as he was included in proposed swap-deal. But that hasn’t stop Keylor Navas to become a commanding figure between the sticks. The Costa Rica International started the season in the fine form, with Real Madrid has only conceded two goals in 2015-16 campaign. He was called in action against in-form  Celta Vigo attack and he dealt anything put in-front of with calm and composure to deny home side.

Celta were relegated to 10 men just 12 minutes at the start of the second half when Gustavo Cabral received second deserved yellow. But home side still manage to pull one back, with Spanish attacker Nolito guided the ball to the top corner.  Although, Marcelo strikes for Real Madrid just before the final whistle to earn 3-1 victory.

During the post match interview Real Madrid manager Rafael Benitez said

“We have lot of chances to kill the game before.

“In the end we had to suffer, because we were looking for third goal. But we have to take positives which is to come to such a difficult place after playing PSG on Wednesday and get a good result”

While Nolito took his time to admire Navas.

“We have to congratulate him because he stopped three or four clear goals and I do not know how he saved.”
