Raúl González Blanco currently plays as a striker for the New York Cosmos. He was voted the best striker in the world by IFFHS in 1999 and has also achieved UEFA Club Forward of the Year award thrice consecutively from 2000 to 2002. Spanish footballer Raúl scored a total of 228 goals in 550 La Liga matches in his club career from 1994 till 2010. He achieved 0.41 goals per match ratio while playing in the Spanish league and is inducted in the fourth place in our list of 10 All Time Top Scorers of La Liga for scoring fourth most goals in the League’s history. Raúl, in his La Liga career, scored a total of 228 goals in 550 matches while playing for Real Madrid between 1994 and 2010. Besides his club career, he also scored a total of 44 goals in 102 international appearances for the Spanish national football team from 1996 till 2006.

  1. In my opinion, Cristiano Ronaldo has the opportunity to be the best striker of Real Madrid. He’s doing extremely well, probably will win UCL this year.
